Regional Final Results

Another very successful cash final, with 91 runners, from a qualifiers list of 137 possible starters.
Numbers pretty good considering it was the first day of the Labour Day Long Weekend here in Adelaide.

Elizabeth Tavern was the venue for Cash Final #4 in SA, positioned in the function room, specially decorated for the occasion - Vicky and her staff had dressed the room nicely.
A charity sausage sizzle was cranking at 5pm when rego started and the players gathered in droves for a bite to eat before the big game.

We seated right on 6, the second largest cash final field to date, but was very soon dropping in numbers as players pushed their 10K stacks around.
After the second break we had just 4 tables remaining, and that quickly diminished down to the last two!

This is when play slowed right down, as players all wanted to make it to the final table, with the $100 guarantee, and chasing the $3000 top prize.

When we got down to the last 8, it was great to see a representation of players from 8 different pubs.
Zelko - a big final specialist - always high up on the leaderboard was first out - in 8th
Clive held out for 7th. Geoff was all in, and out in 6th.
NPPL's favourite mum Ann was next out finishing a valiant 5th. And Bill was the last player receiving $100 finishing in 4th.

Down to the big cash....

Darius, battling the flu - was next out taking home $500 in 3rd.

Heads up action between Dylan and Anthony.
Dylan, chip leader when final table commenced, had taken some heavy hits on the final table, but was still just in front. Anthony had worked his way back from being "all in" with just 20k, when blinds were 30 & 60K.

After some to-ing and fro-ing ........it was the Murray Bridge champion, Anthony Gilgen, who took out the top prize

Dylan collected a cheque for $1000 for runner up, and Anthony was awarded the Winner's cheque of $3000!!!
